I took a 4 month long sabbatical this year! 🎒🤖🌍☘️✍️ Travelling, staycationing, volunteering, learning, dabbling with crypto and writing! Here's how I spent the 4 most enriching months of 2022 and why you should consider taking sabbaticals too! 👇🏻

Premium, affordable healthcare that is safe, hassle-free and concierge-managed across India and Southeast Asia.
India’s medical tourism is such an under-exploited goldmine. Wife’s surgery was quoted at $30,000 in Singapore - cost $2,000 in India, in a good hospital. The problem is the ecosystem- travel, logistics, safety concerns. Fix it and India could become the ‘global healing hub.’

Focus on the Big Picture: In the grand scheme of things, the small stuff doesn't matter. Stay consistent, persevere through challenges, and let go of things and people that don't contribute positively to your growth. Trust your inner voice, because it's the Universe speaking.

Health First: This decade is pivotal for building physical strength. Invest in your well-being by prioritizing exercise nutrition, self-care. Lift weights or trek or run whatever works for you. You will either gain muscle strength and bone density or lose it in your 30s.

“As women, navigating two very demanding worlds, personal and professional - what is that you wish you knew in your 30s” - I asked some incredible women in my circles. Here are some nuggets of wisdom that came my way

By prioritizing my own health, I hope to instill in her the importance of self-care from an early age, laying the foundation for a lifetime of well-being. Also, some days looks like these - filled with mid-workout cuddles 😂 (BONUS) Let’s make self-care a non-negotiable!

I broke down this goal into milestones for the year. This commitment isn't just about me – it's about setting an example for my little one. I often take my toddler to my strength training sessions and she loves to copy all of our moves! Monkey see, Monkey do!

As we celebrate World Health Day I'm thrilled to share a personal commitment & a goal that's close to my heart. In 2024, amidst the joys and challenges of motherhood, I've made a promise to prioritize my health – both physical and mental above all - I felt a sense of urgency

@SingaporeAir Also, I had requested a vegan meal (booked this meal in advance) on flight and what I got was a plateful of dairy with a side of veggies. Yogurt, Milk and the chocolate dessert you served as a vegan meal option doesn’t qualify as vegan btw @SingaporeAir

I didn’t expect this from airlines like @SingaporeAir . The staff had no clue how can we get compensation nor was the customer care helpful. Still looking for a resolution as I am travelling with my toddler 🤷🏻♀️

Net, we need to encourage and invest in women’s health to make up for decades of neglect. We owe this to our women.

And then there are GenZ women, who leave me spellbound when it comes to their self-awareness. They are more likely to openly talk about & report challenges, and most importantly seek help. Be it mental or sexual health. I don’t think we are prepared to meet their demands, as yet

I have seen my mothers’ generation suffer in silence be it post natal issues/menopause or issues arising due to sheer negligence. But now, I am glad to see my mom prioritise her health & bring back the focus on wellness. So there is that segment of women who need this the most

Millennial women are more aware and demand better infrastructure and services when it comes to healthcare. While we are lucky to have this in metro cities, I wonder how women from tier 2 and 3 cities can get access to a judgement free women centric safe space

An estimated one in five Indian women suffer from PCOS. If not monitored in time, the condition can have serious long term health impact I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014 and it was rare to find a non-judgemental gynaecologist in Delhi back then. I am glad that’s changing now

Whether you choose to have kids or not - decide and mourn the life that you did not choose so that you never regret it. Do it sooner. Raising a human is not for everyone. Although 5 months into this, I feel it’s the happiest and most present I have ever been. But to each his own
👨👨👧Want to have kids one day? Have them today. Don't want to? Reconsider. I just had my daughter at 35. I wish I had done it at 25. I could have had 10 more years with her. 1️⃣ I will see my grandkids at > 70 👶 2️⃣ Will be 55 years old when her first beer 🍺 3️⃣ And 50 when she

Women deserve a mother centric care and approach when they go through pregnancy and labour and I don’t think we do justice to our women! If we really care about our mothers (as we like to show it on every #mothersday) we need to make radical changes in maternity healthcare system
