We had 160 people apply for an upcoming project. We invited 75 to tape, then 23 to audition. We will employ 6. We are a team of two freelance people...and yet we got back to every person at every stage to let them know. It took 20mins to send the 'no' emails. It's NOT THAT HARD.

Would be good to hear @Arts_Wales_ side. There must be transparency else we might as well all give up.

The change in decision making and how @Arts_Wales_ is currently acting is bigger than you. Act as an NT and let’s unify a sector wide response that shows we ain’t happy about them not following what they have set out. Stop trying to make people feel sorry 4 u. It’s tiresome.

for balance I’m tired of the ‘oh woe us’ statements from @NTWtweets. ‘NTW entered into a labour-intensive..’ Of course you did that’s your job. That times already funded. If you want the sector to believe you’re not an insular organisation stop always talking like one.
@Arts_Wales_ decision to ignore their own procedures and guidelines should be a worry to us all. It isn't exclusive to NTW. We are seeing decision panels turn down grants on reasoning that has nothing to do with the questions asked or the guidelines they set out.

What is the point of independent review if you're just going to ignore it @Arts_Wales_ ? This seems like an embarrassing lack of transparency behind this decision and a complete disregard for the lives of people behind this org, as well as the many freelancers they work with.

Missing your bus back from London because you hyperfocused on an email and 4 hours passed without you realising. Yay spicy brain.

an independent panel found the body has not followed its own procedures "fairly and transparently". If true this is something that needs further scrutiny. If @Arts_Wales_ decision panels aren’t following guidelines that affects us all more than if NTW deserve portfolio

My debut as a playwright!! ‘The Women of Llanrumney’ is set in Llanrumney, Jamaica 1765 on the plantation founded by Captain Henry Morgan and it explores the experiences of women, both enslaved and enslaver, during that time (a time our history books like to gloss over)
WORLD PREMIERE Wales’ colonial past is confronted head-on in this devastating historical drama. The Women of Llanrumney by Azuka Oforka runs in the Studio from 16 May - 1 June. 🎫 https://t.co/wxfnUoOV4U 📸 Contemporary South Wales photography by Jon Pountney #MadeAtSherman
