7 years ago today I got a call from my boyfriend at the time, saying my dad had fallen whilst doing house maintenance and hurt his head. I had no idea how bad the situation, so decided to drive from uni back home to make sure things were ok, expecting to be there for 2-3 days.

Major Tom's War took me a decade to write and I have worked so hard to publicise it, if in a small way compared with @captaintommoore books. It is very upsetting now that folk should be messaging me specifically to say they will not buy my book - it's not the same Tom, people!
