Letting tech people touch the arts has to be one of the worst mistakes humanity has made. They have such deep contempt for creativity, ownership, and shared experiences. Life itself is an enemy. They will strangle every industry to death to have each cough up an extra dollar.

I actually quite enjoyed Scorn, it was weird in a very specific and intentional way. Like they could have phoned it in and they didn't. Puzzles were good too

Nothing is serious to these people because they revel in their own feces piles of mediocrity. The end of the world won't be dramatic nor instant, it'll be passive and slow and festered - and it'll be thanks to people like you that it isn't handled with the immediacy it deserves.

With everything sterilized we're heading to the nursery to get some compost and to the pet store to get some fresh springtails. When we get back we still have to bake the cork bark just in case

This whole process will probably destroy the nice helpful microbacteria but I'm not willing to risk my isopods living through a predator movie situation. I've read some horror stories of people finding centipedes in the enclosure picking off pods one by one.

While this is going on we boil the leca. These are clay balls that do something useful in the soil with the moisture I dunno but I listened to some smart people

We'll just batch microwave. Nuke them from kitchen, it's the only way to be sure
