I hope the J.P. Morgan chart wasn't "news" to you? If it were, you may not have been paying attention for the last 15 years? After all, it's only been the greatest deleveraging period in history? Literally the healthiest household balance sheet in history. If you're also still

Just like the lead up to and including Liberation Day, trade headlines, negotiations, deadlines shifting, implementations and so-called 50% #tariff on #Copper when the administration wants to bring manufacturing capacity back home, this is getting close to peak stupidity once.

Not So Fun Fact?. The trade negotiations taking place today are not negotiations, but IMPLEMENTATION of tariffs. Both trade deals outlined, of the "90" supposedly" being negotiated, locked-in tariffs upwards of 20%. Neither negotiated away, but locked-in #tariffs.

If exporters/foreigners were were paying for #Tariffs , Import Prices would be falling. That's not happening!. The last time this didn't show up, eventually, in #CPI/PPI was NEVER. Only thing saving #inflation data are Y/Y declines in Energy/Housing, offsetting so far.

Great guest spot commentary from @fundstrat . I would add the shorthand answer to the question by offering an old markets truism: . “The market never discounts the same thing twice!”.

Too much complacency in the markets is as much a problem as two kids in the back seat saying “he won’t stop touching me.”. If that’s the worst of the market's problems, you have no problem!. Longwinded "shut up, not every day does the market’s price action demand a narrative.".

Chart showing how China exports to U.S. now just China exports to the U.S. via Vietnam. That's why we're tariffing Vietnam higher; we know China's tricks. When Cambodia's economy becomes as large as Vietnam's, and so on, and so on. Tariffs dont work; it's just shadow games
