Had the 1st conversation in the history of bilateral relations with 🇬🇭 President @NAkufoAddo. Talked about supporting 🇺🇦 in international organizations, including UNSC; 🇺🇦's willingness to guarantee food security in the region. We're actively enhancing cooperation with Africa!

Zelensky to NATO: “Just think about one fact now: today, a country that is not a member of NATO, albeit with your support, has been holding back a state for more than four months…And we are holding back Russia from destroying us and from destroying you.”

10. Talk of the expression - "to seek shelter". ,It was at that point I realized, "to seek shelter" literally means to find Bombshelters for safety. That brings me to my next ⏭ episode; which focuses on Bombshelters, city planning & architecture. To be continued.......

9. I am not saying a disaster should befall on 🇬🇭 or an imminent disaster is looming but should it happen, can we alert people quickly to seek shelter to reduce casualties? Are we prepared? Can people be informed to run for shelter quickly enough?

8. As curious as I am, I've been thinking about this. I even decided to write a java & build an app for it specifically for Ghana but the question is do we have the infrastructure, radar and such system in place for the code to be built on it for the app to be even useful?.

7c. We were told not to panic. It's just the city authorities testing the system to ensure it's in the right working condition. And to my surprise it's the same everywhere in all these North American, European and even Asian cities; Japan, Korea, China etc.

7b.However in comparison with the EWS here, it's very loud, precise and unique. I was able to hear it driving in my car 10km away from the city center. To add to my knowledge, upon getting to Budapest we were told, it's also normal to hear the EWS going off once a while.

7a.I quite remember when I was a kid growing up in Dichemso, at exactly 12noon a huge bell 🔔 will be played from Roman hill - Adum. And I can't tell if people who lived in areas like Tafo, oforikrom, Kwadaso, Bremang and it's environs got this experience.

6. Frankly these sirens 've saved more lives. It goes off mins/hr b4 a Russian missile strikes. If there wasn't any EWSs/🚨s, people would've been hit rampantly than we are witnessing. Yes people are dying w/ the sirens on but we couldn't imagine the lives lost w/o these EWSs.

5b. I was told, the city's authorities announced that they will start testing the City's EWS. And not only in Kyiv but all the cities as well. Right after that, I started thinking about my people back in Africa - Ghana; are our cities equipped with any EWS or something similar?
