This week I served as a Senate Page at the Mississippi State Capitol under @SenRodHickman. Witnessing live debates & the legislative process firsthand expanded my perspective on leadership & law. I am so grateful for the connections, growth & insight into how impact is made!

Housing is more than policy—it’s about stability, dignity, and opportunity. I’m honored to serve as Chairman of the Senate Housing Committee and thankful to Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann for his confidence in my leadership.

On a personal note, Senator Robin Robinson is one of the most thoughtful, caring, and committed colleagues I know. She has gone the extra mile because she truly believes in serving people. She is a model of grace, class, and public service. MS is better than this @tatereeves

Their commitment to this state and their constituents deserved appreciation, not vilification. Leadership isn’t about punishment and purity tests. The people of Mississippi deserve politics that bring us together not more of this toxic division.

It’s one thing to debate policy, it’s another to have decency. This tweet lacks both grace and respect that should exist in the office of the governor. Senators Parker and Robinson didn’t share my views on most issues but they are public servants who deeply love our state. 1/3
Obamacare Medicaid Expansion was on the ballot yesterday in Republican primaries across Mississippi. The @msdemocrats Party activists at MS Today - and their fundraising team at the MS Hospital Association - have for years lied and released fake polls claiming our primary voters

At #FutureSummit, young state legislators built trust, swapped strategies, and are leaving with real ideas to change their legislatures — not someday, but now. We can’t wait to see everyone again at Future Summit 2026!

Column: It appears likely that the state will end the fiscal year on June 30 collecting less revenue than it did the previous year for only the sixth time since 1970. And new tax cuts and revenue hits are on the way. https://t.co/6kK5iTgNNM

If this is what’s best for the State and there is nothing to hide, why is this process covered and without transparency?

While I wholeheartedly support government being funded and agencies getting the funding they need to carry out the work of this state, this process is not transparent and not working as we learned from bills being passed and signed into law with typos.

This is how we spend money in the state of Mississippi and why I voted “NO” in committee. 11:53am - I was handed this stack of 52 bills (which I’ve never seen before) appropriating 7.8 BILLION of state dollars. 11:58am - all 52 called for a vote in block.

Hey Mississippi, your super majority Republican legislature can’t agree on things like budgets, or even when to come to work but we sure did ban together, hold hands and Kumbaya across Chambers to ban diversity, equity and inclusion 🎉! #Priorities #BansOverBudgets 🫶🏽

Not everyday I quote the MSGOP press office BUT I think this is a great place to say…Mississippi you’re doing a bang up job by continually giving us this trifecta they are really getting things done. 🫶🏽
Bulk of spending bills die. What’s next? #msleg Lawmakers run out the clock on spending bills as both White and Hosemann dig in. https://t.co/QWrgUIZ7lR

🥱 yep, not shocker at all…the real issue is that not a single person in leadership saw this as a problem OR worse they didn’t care. 🤷🏽
Column: Six lawmakers were appointed to finalize a bill to ban DEI programs in Mississippi. All of them are white. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. https://t.co/ta0zEjCo6z
