Amidst all the discussion about increasing taxes in Australia to repair an “unsustainable budget” there isn’t a single word from the Albanese government about reigning in spending or spending our money more effectively and efficiently. Not a single word.

The measure they are lying about is our decision to reduce eligibility to receive certain social services payments while overseas from the current 6 weeks to 4 weeks. The age pension is not affected by this decision.
