Suella Braverman appears to actually want Β£billions of our UK citizens' money to go to Donald Trump personally. That's money from your pocket and mine.
President Trump has been slandered by the BBC. Whether intentional or accidental, the damage is significant. President Trump is right to sue the BBC. Itβs the only way things will change.

Michael Caine "I voted for Brexit... I'd rather be a poor master than a rich servant... You get lost, and then you find your way, and it will be alright." This Brexiteer lives in LA, has never been a poor anything, and there are zero consequences for his actions on him.

Watching Michael Rosen patiently try and explain basic principles to Kirstie Allsopp is like watching Alan Turing carfully trying to explain times tables to a koala bear.

Kirstie Allsopp's point is simple. Pennies for basic services for poor people, BAD. Massive sums in tax avoidance that her family has benefited from, GOOD. They just want you to have nothing and them to have everything.

Michelle Mone owes Β£39m in unpaid tax. There is Β£11BN in unpaid corporate tax. Rishi Sunak β from one of the 250 richest families in the UK β paid just 23% in tax in 2023 on his earnings. Thatβs a lower rate of tax than a teacher. @MichaelRosenYes was a teacher Kirsty.

Hearing that income tax is going up in the budget to cover Michael Rosen's bus pass.

You have missed my point. You are personalising a debate about benefits and national debt. There is zero reason to open a debate about this by talking about something you know nothing about: ie my disposable income.
@MichaelRosenYes You are one of the most successful childrenβs author in the UK, thatβs why there is a special day. You tweeted about your Freedom Pass, but did it not occur to you not apply for it? When we use this platform we know itβs not all about being agreed with.

Lords on Β£365 a day to have a kip, MPs on subside meals and booze and extortionate expenses , not to mention the Royals. All paid from the public purse. But Kirsty Allsopp is rattling on about Michael Rosen's bus pass. π

If I came from a family that has held a seat in House of Lords for 7 generations and used it to protect their vast empire from Tax and Inheritance Tax. I probably wouldn't be complaining about free bus passes for Senior Citizens. You'd look ridiculous.

Kirst Allsopp (the honourable) was born into an aristocratic family with an hereditary peerage (her father was the 6th Baron Hindlip) yet she wants you to think that free bus travel for the over 65s is the problem.
A writer so successful that today is a day dedicated to him in schools all over the country thinks it is reasonable that he travels for free due to his age. People have to stop taking things they do not need, it is wrong and it is bankrupting our country.

Baffles me Allsopp took the time to type this out and then post it... to what end, other than to make herself look small-minded, petty, & thoroughly horrible? "People have to stop taking things they do not need" Like buy-to-let landlords owning multiple homes, right? Right?

Someone has posted a link to how much youβre worth (more than 10 million - well done) and someone else to a link to a claim that sometime or another you used the NHS dental arrangement. Can any of this be true?

@KirstieMAllsopp Your father, the 6th Baron Hindlip, inherited his peerage (hence you are the honourable Kirst Allsopp). I would argue inheriting a hereditary peerage is definitely taking something you don't need. I don't really think free bus travel for the over 65s is the issue.

@KirstieMAllsopp Do you think travel passes in general - not just mine - are, as you say - bankrupting the country?
