Due to geographical factors, most of Africa's rivers aren't navigable. Look at America's river Missisipi (image 1) and China's Yangtze river (image 2) and you'll notice container and cruise ships ploughing them. With river engineering, river Congo and Nile can be navigable.
Looking at Congo, Brazzaville from Kinshasa city. The Congo river separate the twin cities which hold the distinction of being the world's second-most closely geolocated national capitals after Rome and Vatican. Beauteous.
