This is outrageous. I want to be abundantly clear that the council were not informed of this and the first I heard was when someone sent me the social media link. If the Home Office wants to descend upon people in this way the least they can do is talk to local stakeholders.

#AssistedDying I can’t believe how much this has upset me. All this talk of dignity but no effort to give people with terminal illness the option to die naturally with dignity. Money will be invested in this option but no money for Palliative Care. That’s not giving choice!

State assisted suicide passed with a majority of just 23 votes. I voted against. I dont feel that this bill is fit for purpose. A very somber mood for many.
