Saying this as someone who was there from day one. This is just the nature of a nearly 15-year old franchise. Any type of discussion or theories have run their course because the series is old. It's already been discussed and there's no reason to bring up dead topics.
There is no madoka magica fandom. No madoka OCs, no madoka theories. All there is are aesthetic accounts and surface level gimmicks screaming YURIIIIIII every 3 seconds cuz they saw the show once in 2021 with their eyes closed and then never again.

i can’t tell how real this is considering the user but this is lowkey what happens when you make your fans wait 13 years for the conclusion to a story. the fandom dries out and passion becomes passive.

A few years ago, there was an anime created by the same guy who made Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, etc. It's called "Carole & Tuesday". I didn't think much of it back then, but I want to rewatch it soon cause holy hell, "Ahead of its time" may be an understatement.
