Last year, Kay “Kate” Shemirani murdered my sister, her own daughter, Paloma. Paloma was 23. She died from a totally curable cancer, 7 months after mistakenly putting her life in Kay’s hands. Kay was physically beating her until the week she died.

@jonathanstea @DrNeilStone we need to spend more energy unwinding the psychology that drives conspiracy theorists, and less fighting them on facts they’ll never listen to anyway.

The conspiracy theory is a virus of the mind, and it infects its hosts with paranoia, a superiority complex, and Christian-style narratives. You can’t reason a mind out of a view that it didn’t reason into. Don’t fight conspiracy theories with facts. Fight them with psychology.

⬇️ Common cop-out used by conspiracy theory influencers like @ABridgen. They spread disinfo with no vetting or sources… but if you disagree, they dump the burden of proof on you to “do your own research”. Don’t be sucked into a scientific debate. Science never mattered to them.
@SebastianShemi I always suggest people do their own research and educate themselves.
