“This man will be executed.”  A Nigerian govt lawyer threatened a young man, Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, outside of the Supreme Court of Nigeria last week. His crime? Sharing song lyrics deemed blasphemous. The Supreme Court should reject this extremism. My op-ed @Newsweek today 👇

The world has largely ignored the persecution of Christians in Nigeria: 7,000 killed, 3.5 million displaced, and three churches destroyed every day. It’s time to break the silence, raise awareness, and support those enduring unimaginable suffering.

The Canadian conservatives have really been on this this week. Really becoming a global movement. I hope it lasts and grows. 🙏

The brutal attacks in Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo by terrorist groups are the latest reminder of a grim reality: Christians are being slaughtered for their faith, and the world barely notices. Christians are among the most persecuted religious communities on

🚨What’s astonishing to me about China's murder-for-organs industry is not just the brutality. It's the fact that hospitals and physicians have PUBLICLY admitted to it—often without realizing. Hospital websites in China used to list wait times as short as 2 weeks for a vital

This @FBI decision should be our cue: let’s pronounce the SPLC’s credibility finished once & for all. For too long, media, corporations & government gave this radical & dishonest organization power to target conservatives for silencing—or worse. That should end TODAY. 🧵⬇️

Now is a pivotal moment in the global fight against blasphemy laws, and in favor of religious freedom and free speech. The Supreme Court of Nigeria 🇳🇬 should lead by overturning these blasphemy laws and setting Yahaya free. @ADFIntl @ADFLegal

The Nigerian 🇳🇬 Supreme Court finally has a chance to rectify this injustice. It can set a world-changing example by making clear that draconian blasphemy laws have no place in a modern constitution grounded on fundamental human rights. @ADFIntl @ADFLegal

And as worldwide and US attention to persecution in Nigeria 🇳🇬 has exploded in the last week, there’s a lot Congress can do, from bills and resolutions, to confirming the IRF Ambassador nominee @RepMarkWalker so that the Trump Admin can lead on a response.

Did you know 125,000 Christians have been murdered and 19,000 churches destroyed by Muslims in Nigeria in the last 15 years? Weird how that never gets any attention. Wonder why 🤔

Christians are being systematically exterminated in Nigeria. With everything that’s happened since 9/10, videos like these are so much harder to see. Imagine the families and children left behind after this butchery. Pray for the persecuted church.

TERRIFYING: Christians are being hunted like animals in Nigeria. An Islamist group invaded a Christian village and started shooting everyone in sight. They are killing Christians on Eid and offering them as human sacrifices. The media remains silent.
