Interesting choice to include Friday the 13th: Part II in a "final girl" series when it's one of the only 80s slashers with a final guy: Ted, the dude who survives by just hanging out at the townie bar.

Was delighted to read this in Amy's pieceâMarty Supreme coincidentally inspired me to rewatch Jacobs's Orchard Street, shot around the same time Marty is set, and I was also struck by the similarities between Jack Fisk's recreation of '50s Orchard and the rhythms of its editing.
