Scotland has 9 areas in the Plan for Neighbourhoods; Peterhead, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Greenock, Elgin, Dumfries, Coatbridge, Clydebank, and Arbroath. It would be great to see this boost social prescribing in Scotland.
The Government’s new £1.5 billion Plan for Neighbourhoods will invest in 75 areas over 10 years. Social prescribing is one of the pre-approved interventions that the funding can be used for Plan for Neighbourhoods: prospectus - GOV UK .
