I will go to my grave believing that in the 2019 offseason, Lacob wanted a 2-4 year time frame to tear it all down and save money (perhaps urged on by COVID and a new building). Then they accidentally won a championship, and the whole thing got really awkward for him.

so far the Golden State Warriors, OKC Thunder (won the title), and Minnesota Timberwolves (extended Naz & Randle) are the only teams in the Western Conference that havent made any offseason roster additions via Free Agency or trade. EVERY other West team has.
