When Manmohan Singh became India’s PM, I often fantacized what if Nepal had someone like Ram Sharan Mahat as PM. Well-spoken, honest, & an economist at heart like Manmohan Singh. Similar backgrounds, but very different political destinies. Huge respect to Ram Sharan Mahat 🙏.

My two cents on "काम पर्दा मात्र सम्झिन्छ" ☺️

We are better at imposing fines than providing services.

This is quite unprofessional, and using words like “कुलङ्गार” is inappropriate. However, the sad reality of Nepali society today is that, since the federal government is continiously caught up in काण्ड after काण्ड, something like this might actually get endorsed 🙃.

राष्ट्रपति जस्तो सर्वोच्च पद सम्हालेपछि पुनः पार्टी राजनीतिमा फर्किनु भनेको राजनैतिक नैतिकतामाथिको प्रहार हो। अत: विद्यादेवी भण्डारीको भूमिका अब मार्गदर्शन दिने हो, सल्लाह दिने हो,  प्रतिस्पर्धा गर्ने होइन।.

प्रसंग ठ्याक्कै उस्तै त नहोला, तर कर्मचारीलाई कुलिङ् पिरियड नै राख्न नखोज्ने एमालेले पूर्व राष्ट्रपति भने पूर्ण रूपमा निषेध गरेको देखिन्छ, कुलिङ् पिरियडको त कुरै छाडौं 😋.

The truth is most of us have been selling our degrees, mostly using them for jobs that don’t always match our passion. The real issue isn’t selling the degree, it’s forgetting why we earned it :).

आजको यथार्थ यहि हो, एउटा अन्तर्वार्तामा अनिल चित्रकारले भनेको याद छ, नेपालमा गर्नेलाई नरोके अनि दुख: नदिए पनि पनि पुग्छ।. किनभने, ती फाइल अड्काएर राख्न पाइयो र आफूले चाहेका बेला स्वीकृत गरियो भने फाइलैपिच्छे रकमको ‘डिल’ गर्न पाइन्थ्यो 😡😡.
