Finding 1: Working in health care generally and hospital-based health care specifically was associated with less increase in reported unemployment rates compared with other fields and nonhospital health care work.

TL;DR: We found that while working in health care and in hospitals was protective against unemployment during the pandemic, some lower income HCWs, who are critical for care delivery still faced increased unemployment.
