Sarnia Fire’s hazmat team, on-shift crews, and Linde Canada Inc. took part in a simulated Ammonia release. Despite extreme temperatures, crews once again donned Level A hazmat suits to quickly deal with the situation. #AlwaysTrainingAlwaysReady

Today, the flag in front of City Hall is lowered to half-mast in memory of the late Robin “Rob” Gifford. Rob began his career at @SarniaFire as a Firefighter in 1987 and retired as a FPO in 2017. He passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 68. Rob "Giffy", you will be missed.
