To better distinguish content and networking from my ancient sci-fi/fantasy author account, @SarahESeeley, I have set up this new account specifically for networking with science, archaeology, and academic peers. Hello, and welcome! :)

It was great to visit York, reconnect with some colleagues and make new friends/contacts in the realm of Palaeolithic studies. Very interesting talks by everyone I was able to see, and a very welcoming crowd. Thanks for a lovely event!
The final presentation in this mornings incredibly data rich session is Sarah Seeley, presenting on "Preserving the little things", what tiny insects and small bones can tell us about decomposition ecology stressors and environmental histories at Barnham and Ebbsfleet Valley.

My understanding is that the @EntsocAmerica #ibranch24 is free to attend online, it just requires registration. Lots of interesting things about insects (Which, of course, includes my 3D models of flesh-eating beetle boreholes ;). You can find these here:

Join us online April 27-29, 2026 10-minute presentation and poster submissions, as well as grant applications are now open!

On this Good Friday and Easter weekend we are especially mindful of our Savior, Jesus Christ, the depths of His sacrifice and His triumphant rise from the tomb. May you find peace and joy because He lives! #BecauseofHim Full video: https://t.co/3fsXGHhKPR

"The lion lays down with the lamb, right? So the T-Rex lays down with the Brontosaurus." I enjoyed watching these friars talk about being cool with evolution & speculating about dinosaurs in Heaven. It's just fun & I wanted to share: https://t.co/DrGHIJ9JUJ

By "ancient," I mean it is an old account (as opposed to being, very specifically somehow, an author of "ancient sci-fi & fantasy," lol). :)

It seems I donβt have to put captions on these for general social media sharing, but it feels a little more properly explained if I do include something. :)
