I was proud and humbled to join with @BoardofDeputies President @PhilR_R and Deputues and march at the @AJEX_UK Remembrance Sunday parade. I marched in memory of my dear late parents. My dad served, they both were stalwarts of @AJEX_UK

An important aspect is the exhibition is led by people @LangdonCharity support showing having a learning disability should not be a barrier to contributing to the community. @BoardofDeputies

I was delighted to pop in and see how @LangdonCharity Manchester used @BoardofDeputies Jewish Living Experience exhibition for their staff training. Their staff come from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. 1/2

Their connection to @CCJUK and interfaith relations, noting that these have suffered in recent years. They stressed that we know the silent majority are with us, but they need to speak up and out, adding that antisemitism cannot become normalised. A most interesting event 2/2

I attended the @CCJUK keynote speaker panel, following their AGM held in Manchester. Speakers were CEOs of @JewishMCR and @JewishLeeds and chaired by Beth, CCJ Campus Leadership Manager. They spoke about leadership in challenging times and explained their leadership journey 1/2

Definition of hate crime is "Any criminal offence or incident which is *perceived* by the victim or other person, to be *motivated* by hostility or prejudice towards someone based on a personal characteristic". Great that @OwenOwenpower also attended and willbe an Ambassador 2/2

I was humbled to be asked to train as a @SalfordCouncil Hate Crime Reporting Ambassador with the training taking place this afternoon. The room was a mix of eclectic people. 1/2
