CST was privileged to secure the @AJEX_UK Remembrance Parade at the Cenotaph yesterday and be one of the many proud groups of marchers. We thank AJEX for all of their work.

“We can look forward once again to the forces of light prevailing over the forces of darkness”. It was an honour to address the @AJEX_UK reception prior to this year’s wonderful AJEX Parade.

Our @BoDPres, Marie van der Zyl, was honoured to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph during today's @AJEX_UK parade, in memory of all the members of the Board of Deputies and its affiliated communities & organisations who served in the two World Wars. May their memories be blessed.

At the @AJEX_UK Annual Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony which takes place every year the Sunday after Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph.

Congratulations to @DrHelenFry for receiving a “Life Time Achievement Award” for her excellent History books. Later she laid a wreath at the Cenotaph to Thomas Kendrick and his team in Vienna that helped Jews escape Nazis persecution @AJEX_UK

Today on @AJEX_UK day, remembering the Jewish Ex servicemen that battled for Britain during the wars, I wanted to share briefly the story of my grandfather Sholem, as referenced in this amazing book Jews In Uniform

Remembrance time is about respecting the fallen and those who have had their lives changed by war and it is also a time to remember that they we’re fighting for a better world, free from tyranny for all of us. Today I will remember all of their sacrifices for all our freedoms

On my way to help and support the #AJEX Remembrance Parade. It started in the 1930’s by veterans to demonstrate that there had been 45,000+ Jews in the British Military in WW1 with many still serving. They wanted to remember all the fallen and combat rising antisemitism.
