In general, Houston is what people think Austin will be: weird. Austin is what people want from Dallas: a pleasant urban playground for whites. Dallas is what people think Houston will be: a hellscape of Applebee's and Party Times USAs. -OS.

Hang on. I misspoke. There actually is one country. And they do so under the guidance of Sharia Law, which is so fascinating because the latest Texas right wing talking point is around banning Sharia Law in Texas. Who needs bans when the call is coming from inside the house?

@SaraForTexLege I'll say again, and I'll talk to anyone. We left last month due to abortion laws. 2 tax paying, never even been pulled over, good Christians who wanted to have children but the laws put my wife's life in danger and became too difficult during our fertility journey.

With no exceptions for rape or incest, Texas abortion laws mirror those of third world countries. Despite the fact that 85% of Texas residents feel that our abortion laws are too restrictive, these extremists are attempting to take them even further. They are out of control.
I’m hearing some of my “Republican” colleagues are trying to kill HB 7, the pro-life bill @GregAbbott_TX is pushing for this session. Conservatives will fight tooth and nail to protect unborn children. Next week will be war if they try to kill this bill.
