3 health centers in Blakely, Macon & Columbus have been awarded $4.8 million in Health Center grants! I'll continue to be an advocate for GA health centers which are providing health care closer to home & improved quality of patient care & outcomes.

I'm happy to announce a $1 million Healthy Start program grant to Mercer University! Mercer's School of Medicine runs South Georgia Healthy Start which helps educate mothers and expecting families about maternal health, parenting, infant safety, and more.

Yesterday, the Georgia Beverage Association updated me on their efforts to increase plastic bottle recycling and protect consumer beverage choices. We also talked about transportation issues and my work on the Farm Bill as a Member on the House Agriculture Committee.
