The beneficiaries of @sevavardhini Diwali campaign, are not just the kit recipients. For example, the lantern in the kit - made from bamboo and handmade paper - was supplied by partner organisation पाऊलवाट, providing livelihood opportunities to women artisans.
🌕 On Kojagiri night, Goddess Lakshmi asks — “Ko Jagarti?” (Who is awake?) Let’s be awake in compassion! 💜 Donate ₹750 for a Diwali Kit to tribal & flood-affected families. 👉 https://t.co/7My5wcP7gq

A common sight. Construction sites using the footpath and road as an extension of its workspace. This concrete mixer is parked on Paud road near the construction at Maharaja complex signal. @PMCPune

Flood situation in Solapur dist is grim. More rains expected in the coming days. Many of @sevavardhini's partner organisations are working with the district administration on relief measures, running community kitchens and shelters. Please support if you can.

The transformation in Akkalkos village (Dist. Dhule, not to be confused with Akkalkot!) is unbelievable. Kudos to the @sevavardhini team. Thanks to @AtlasCopcoIndia and @mngl_in for support. We are now working on a plan for cluster development of nearby villages.
"From migration to cultivation 🌱✨ With MNGL’s support & Sevavardhini’s efforts, Akkalkos village now has solar irrigation, revived land & empowered women’s SHGs. A model for sustainable rural development! 💧🌾 #RuralEmpowerment #WatershedDevelopment"

Congratulations to team Sevavardhini and all the 40+ Jaldoots. This is a massive recognition on a global scale. To truly address water scarcity, we need thousands of Jaldoots. Please contact us if you can support this much needed initiative.
Thrilled to announce our "Jaldoot" project received an Honorable Mention for the 2025 Project of the Year Award! A huge thank you to our funding partner, Atlas Copco. This is a win for community-led water management. #Sevavardhini #Jaldoot #AtlasCopco #SocialImpact #PMI

On a day when apocalyptic images of supposedly catastrophic flooding in the city were being repeated ad nauseum, this is what it looked like from the sky. Delhi - one of my favourite cities in spite of all the problems, which I fully acknowledge.

I know your government is working hard to improve infrastructure, even bring rail connections. But the archaic and bureaucratic system of trekking permits has to become modern, transparent and proactive. It is an adventure sport and you have to trust professionals. ,n/n

I love the state of Uttarakhand and its people are some of the friendliest and hardworking people you will ever find. They are living in tough conditions and trying to make the most of them. I am sorry, but I am not coming back as a trekker until sensible policies return. 4/n

Yesterday, after reaching Joshimath, braving terrible roads, we were denied permission to go to Panpatia col, despite clear indications of weather clearing in the Badrinath region. This time, we are all returning rather than take the poor substitutes offered.

In June 2024, we were denied permission for a planned Kalindi Khal trek simply due to a bureaucratic over reaction to the tragic accident in Sahasratal. Our guide rerouted us to Baljuri in the Kumaon region last minute, but majority of the group dropped out. 3/n
