Have planted sugarcane after a period of 30 years...trying out three different varieties....the biggest problem with sugarcane we have faced in the past is the long delay in payments....

Good luck Jakhar Sahib. My comment off the topic but why work ,spend money and produce then dump it and give it to someone else to make profit from it. Why don't we think of making an end product like Gurd from sugarcane and sell that.

My dad grows it every year. It's not an easy crop, some would say the most difficult. Good luck with it.

Good luck. Is the Fazilka mill functional?
Also reminds me about the excited discussions, 30 years back, of the large trallas and the pulling power of tractors while transporting sugarcane. Hours would be spent just on these discussion :)
