Classic case of statistical fallacy. The reason for this is simply the fraction of engineers in the pool of Indian population has increased 🙃.

Promising signs of a technocratic bureaucracy emerging within a decade in India, as these hires are likely to rise to the apex policy apparatus? . Between 2017 and 2021, 78% of successful UPSC candidates were from STEM backgrounds, with 63% from engineering, 9% from science, and.

Largely true. Economics is sort of an exception tho, there are brilliant economists in the industry without any formal economics degree.

I hate to say this. But do you know what makes STEM fields objectively superior to the "humanities"?. Scientists & engineers romanticize the self taught person who comes up with a brilliant idea. Humanities folks obsess about degrees.

Was travelling in an Ola in Lucknow , during a casual conversation, the driver opened up and told me that he owned a sizeable plot of land adjacent to IIT Kanpur but will never sell it. Must be valued atleast 10 Cr yet here he is. Locked assets are a pain for Indian economy.

Bureaucratic rigidity kills. Hierarchy kills. Closed attitude kills. All of these kill an institution and workplace and wrecks havoc with the lives of millions if it's a public institution. PM Modi should look into these affairs before it's too late. n/n.

Today the scheme is in crisis. Payments are defaulting, trust is eroding. State Health Authorities are another scandalous lot. I remember calling out one SHA Head publicly in a conference for her incompetence despite being super junior to her. Anyways that's just me. 3/n.

The scheme was set up in record time and functioned like clockwork. Everything was perfect. Till, the standard bureaucracy took hold. The talent went away, the institution slowly became slow and inefficient. 2/n.

Ayushman Bharat has to be a prime example of bureaucratic tomfoolery. During its initial years, it was one of the finest scheme and organisations, had exceptional talent and led by gems like Indu Bhushan and Dinesh Arora. The team was 80% consultants and sectoral experts. 1/n.

C) Indian cities are shit because of illegalities, lack of civil sense and basic infrastructure, not because of what Sanyal said. D) With the kind of chaman ch**iya local bodies and municipalities we have, filled with absolute corrupts, planned or unplanned, will go to shit.

Neither Dowry is wrong nor Alimony is wrong. Violence/Harassment in the name of Dowry/Alimony is wrong. No family, in arrange marriage, would like to marry her daughter to someone who earns less.

Just heard Sanjeev Sanyal talking about why it's bad to think of cities as planned and rigid (and that it's a Soviet concept) and that cities are supposed to flow organically. These are the people at the apex of our bureaucracy?.

Sorry to break your delusion but true Hindu Gurus and Acharyas have allegiance and responsibility towards Dharma, Shastras and their Sampradayas. The path of Sadhana and Isvara and it's morals are eternal and unchanging and not subordinates to popular culture or degeneracy.

Honestly, Hinduism is in serious need of better Gurus and preachers who actually understand the genuine problems of young Hindu men instead of giving the usual toxic combo gyaan of vegcuckoldry, celibacy, ahimsa, aversion to material wealth, etc.
