Just finished this episode and Luci Christian does not disappoint as always! Honestly, she’s one of the best to ever do it!

I’m honestly not the biggest Family Guy fan in the world but I adore American Dad! I always have to remind people who hate FG that AD only had Seth involved in the pilot and the other 2 co-creators have ran the show since then and they are the reason it’s great!

Problematic launch aside it does look like every minute was worth the wait! This is why we should never rush art and let animation take its time! Can’t wait to watch it when the dub comes out!

stop treating animation like it’s a blueprint. not a single animated movie needs to be made in live action. animation is perfectly fine as it is. leave it alone, i am so tired.

For the past 12 years this block has been kept alive by people live tweeting it and now they can’t even do that! And for what? A made up sense of authenticity that only makes sense if you pretend subtitles aren’t just as much of a translation as a dub? This is ridiculous!

Another problem that seems to be persisting from not airing the dub is you can’t live tweet a show with subs very well. This is becoming a bigger bad decision by the second!

I’m seeing this sort of thing echoed a lot tonight. They made the bizarre choice to air it subtitled instead of dubbed and then made it unwatchable for a lot of sub people because they chose the wrong color for the subtitles. Should’ve just aired the dub. 🤦‍♂️

Obviously I’m frustrated that they made the decision not to air the dub on Toonami. I believe that’s a mistake. Regardless I’m excited that an amazing cast like this is going to be available for me to watch! @AbbyTrott @robbiedaymond @CristinaVee @TheMonaMarshall @MaxMittelman
