True story: I’m wearing a Dolphins hat and hoodie at a gas station in nowhere NY. Another guy walks in wearing a Dolphins hat. We lock eyes.
“Go Dolphins,” he says.
“Go Dolphins,” I reply.
We share a nod and a smile and continue on our way. -J

Adam Gase was hired so the Dolphins wouldn’t lose games like this one. This loss is an enormous indictment of Gase. He owns this. Steve Ross needs to see this and cut bait now. Don’t give him the luxury of more time and kick the can down the road for another year. Move now.

We are hearing reports that a lot of people are hearing reports that the Dolphins are considering a number of things including trading up, trading down, and drafting one of several players with their first pick. We can confirm that either one or none of these reports is accurate.
Wishing a happy birthday to the late Jim “Mad Dog” Mandich, a legend and the man who is—to me—unquestionably THE radio voice of the Miami Dolphins. Rest in peace, Mad Dog. -J

There have been missed penalties on both sides. Don’t try to build a narrative that doesn’t exist.
The story early is the Dolphins can’t get out of their own way.
We are hearing rumors from anonymous sources suggesting the Dolphins will play eight games at home and eight games on the road. More news as it develops...
This.
Dolphins fans are conditioned to view every decision as life and death. This is a low risk, high reward move and the already low risk was made even lower by virtue of the trade with New Orleans. You simply cannot view one trade outside the context of the other.
I think with respect to Josh Rosen everyone needs to take a step back, catch their breath. You’re allowed to like the Josh Rosen trade. There’s a discrete chance he makes Miami’s dreams come true. You’re also allowed to believe the Rosen trade is a waste of significant resources.

What is one word to describe how you feel about the Miami Dolphins after last night's loss to the Titans?
We'll share your responses on tonight's show at 8:30 PM!
Here's the thing: Does Tannehill have tremendous physical gifts? Absolutely. But he clearly doesn't have the "football brain" necessary to be a great NFL quarterback. Defensive schemes confuse him and his pocket awareness is mediocre at best. And, at this point, that's who he is.
The Dolphins have not made any trades. They have done nothing to leverage players currently on their roster to build for the future. They have decided to stick to their guns and hope for the best this season. They will finish anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7.
Same Old Dolphins.
Goodnight Irene. We hung around longer than I expected, but we failed to take advantage of the opportunities Buffalo handed us. We continue to be a undisciplined football team and the blame for that falls squarely at the feet of the coaches.
Good Morning!!! It’s that time again!
