Also, thanks @JeremyCone2, Dr. Brown-Iannuzzi, @ryanlei_psych, @RonDotsch (2020) for the great idea to use subgroup images as a compromise b/e issues around group or individual images. We ended up using group, subgroup, and individual images for greater convergence of evidence.

Faces were (more weakly) also revised after Ps learned neutral non-diagnostic info about the person, suggesting mental images of others may be subject to revision when learning any new info, and the extremity of the visualized features may be diluted by not-so-important new info

Ps revised the face they visualized a person to have after learning new diagnostic info about them. These revisions emerged on facial trait impressions (e.g., trustworthiness)

With plenty of data now showing impressions of others may be revised in the face of highly diagnostic info, we wondered if this was simply conceptual, or if our mental images of their appearance also update based on new diagnostic info
