I think the opposite. Once you have enough savings (12-24 months) you should go all in and quit your job. For most people in tech the worst case scenario, meaning their startup failing is not that bad. They can find a new job fast. So easy to procrastinate on « side projects
Personally I think you should have a successful side project before quitting your job to launch something online or the pressure to make things work will crush you.

Sales is more about listening to your customer's needs, genuine curiosity about the customer's problems rather than cold pitching your product. And I think as an introvert you're naturally better at this than extroverted personalities.
