This article was so much fun to write with my colleagues from @KITP_UCSB. It resonates strongly with my group's philosophy on how we do nematode behaviour research @MPI_animalbehav and @CBehav--by seeing our classic lab model organism🪱 as a real animal in the natural world 🌍.

"Umm….hi…I’m C.elegans. I’m a nematode, I love hanging out in rotting fruits. You could say I’m a picky eater: I stick to my preferred bacteria.". From @SSerenaDing et al, a set of 10 questions to help you fall in ❤️ with your animal (for science) 1/2.

New paper alert! @EladSchneidman summarized it best 👇🏼, we use modeling to predict critical synaptic connections in a neuronal circuit, and than rewire them to change behavior. Very proud of @LadaPechuk and @gal_goldman for leading this cool project!.

I had the true pleasure of hearing this story told by @UCSB_OakleyLab himself recently whilst at @KITP_UCSB. Such a fascinating collective phenomenon in a basal animal species, combining two of my favourite things! In the dreamy glowing Caribbean at that, what’s not to love!.

A few highlights from my past five weeks at #neuroloco22 @KITP_UCSB: debuting my lab and our research to North America👩‍🏫, making new and inspiring connections💡, sharing yoga for stronger body and mind🧘🏻‍♀️, and eating endless tacos🌮. I’m so grateful for the experience, thanks all!
