The marketing city wide is atrocious. I see no billboards, commercials, etc. Because of how bad the team has been over the last few years, what percentage of Houstonians knew this team was ranked and 7-1? Have to build buzz
@SSN_UH @EddieNunezAD Parking = cheaper. No student allotment, but you need students to actually show. They didn’t today. Concessions gotta be fixed. The outside area should become a more engaging fan zone. I also see little to no marketing anywhere in the city.

I will say I saw someone else mention this and my apologies I forget who but when the campus renovation is done there will be fantastic space to take advantage of. The department needs to start planning now.
@SSN_UH @EddieNunezAD Cheaper concessions, more staff on duty to work them, cheaper parking, have more corporate sponsors with a universal tailgate tent where everyone can come in and have a drink ticket, incentives for those who stay for the whole game, etc.

A partnership with HISD across the board makes a lot of sense. Especially as the district’s test scores (hopefully) continue to rebound
@SSN_UH @EddieNunezAD Not sure if something like this has been tried, but busing in HISD students. Offer free tickets, transportation, and a hot dog if a school organizes x-number of students. Fill seats and create a new generation of Cougars.

Oh really? I’ve never heard of that.
@SSN_UH @EddieNunezAD Point system in order to get into big games. Students have to show up to smaller games across all sports (today for example) in order to get priority access into bigger games during basketball season, bowl tickets, March Madness, etc. I believe Tennessee does this.

When it comes to attendance the bigger concern for me is where were the students? I get an 11 am kickoff after Halloween everyone was hungover or doing walks of shame but seriously? Student section should have been packed
