Our annual Tea Dance was a huge success last weekend! In the splendid surroundings of Grosvenor House Hotel, it was a fantastic occasion. A huge thank you to our guest of honour, Angela Rippon, everyone who participated and to our many supporters for making the occasion possible.

Has such a great time talking about JWST at the Science Museum x Silver Tuesday event, as part of the national Silver Sunday celebrations to help address loneliness and isolation amongst older people. It was amazing to hear all the lovely stories and spread the joy of astronomy!

Huge thanks to @CinnamonClub for hosting the Thorney Island Soc’s Silver Sunday talk on Vic Keegan’s Lost London books.We were formed in 1985 to save this building from destruction. The Cinnamon Club moved in later and have preserved many features of the lovely library it was.
