Big win for Seattle’s waterfront! A critical gap in the bike network is now finally filled thanks to community advocacy. What was once a stressful detour near Pier 66 is now a smooth, protected connection to the Elliott Bay Trail. More on the fix:

Love it! . ✅ New protected bike lane connecting the Waterfront to Elliott Bay Trail.✅ Safer crosswalks & sidewalks.✅ Traffic calming measures to improve safety. Thanks to everyone who advocated to make the new trail wider, & stay on the water-side (rather than double crossing).
