🧐Why are some animals more 'social' than others? A new project at our dept will test a bunch of theories on which factors drive variation in animal sociality, and it will focus on a super unique study system: the shell-dwelling Lamprologine cichlid fishes of Lake Tanganyika!

Why do we need to estimate movement parameters for the target population when using #cameratraps? In our last paper, we observed a high intra and inter-species variability in movement in red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, wild boar and red fox populations 🦌🐗🦊

Great team again for our #cameratrap effort for #SnapshotEURO in northern Sweden 🇸🇪🇪🇸🇪🇨🇳🇱! Moose hunting season just started (hence the colourful attire) and we saw one (it was the most photographed species last time). Curious to see what the cameras will record this time!
