The primary 1/2 learners have had lots of practice in using various strategies to help them with addition. They are becoming confident in choosing which strategy suits them best, whether it's counters, cubes, numicon, fingers, mental strategies, or number lines. @SLCNumeracy

It was all about addition during numeracy in P1/2 last week. We explored using lots of concrete materials to help us understand the concept and begin to record our sums. Some primary 2's used 10 frames to bridge 10 when adding. @SLCNumeracy

Primary 1/2 are learning to sequence and order numbers. We used games to help us and, with some great teamwork we could also position ourselves in the correct position with our given numbers. Fantastic work 👏 @SLCNumeracy
