The Pupil Council organised a fun dress down/dress in pyjamas day for us all today. Every child in the school ended the day with a lovely ice lolly! A great day was had by all. @CarnwathPrimary

P4/5 have been learning to create 3D Digital designs using 3D Slash. They created a chair last week and a table this week and added both to their Digital Portfolio which the created on Adobe Express. @CarnwathPrimary @AdobeExpress

Our second level classes all created posters and webpages to celebrate VE Day. We all joined a live lesson on Adobe Express to learn to create these. @CarnwathPrimary

At P1-3Coding Club today, the children chose to build and code with Lego Spike, create codes in Scratch Jnr and some of the children were taught by our Digital Leaders, how to create using Minecraft. @CarnwathPrimary @SLCDigitalEd

P3/4 have been learning to create strong passwords containing at least 8 characters, with a mix of lower and uppercase letters; with numbers and symbols! They tested their knowledge by playing the ‘Tower of Treasure’ section of Interland.@CarnwathPrimary @miss_ross16126

P2/3 were learning about playing games online in our Internet Safety lessons. They learned to only play games with people they know and to never share passwords. They should tell an adult if they are worried, scared or sad. They played some internet safety games. @CarnwathPrimary

P6/7B are showcasing their learning about internet safety. They decided on a theme and what software and resources they required. Stop motion animation, Scratch, Adobe Express, Google Slides and Padlet are all being used. Can’t wait to see the finished projects. @CarnwathPrimary

Today, P4/5 were reviewing some Internet Safety games and writing about the key learning from each game. We had some old favourites like ‘Interland’ and ‘Bandrunner’ but also reviewed new ones; ‘Safe Online Surfing’ and ‘Be Safer Online’. @CarnwathPrimary #SaferInternetDay
