And just like that… SJL’s Food And Fun has come to an end! Thank you to @Techniquest @swpolice #JukeBoxCollective @D2S_Wales @Sphere_Recruit and @WelshAmbulance for the excellent workshops and to @FoodandFunCdiff for providing these opportunities for our children! 🥳

@FoodandFunCdiff @WG_Education We followed our march with our Food and Fun water activities! We got very wet but enjoyed having a free play with out friends… We don’t want @FoodandFunCdiff to end! 💦💧🌊

Today is the penultimate day of @FoodandFunCdiff and this morning we marched for a cause we strongly believe in… ”Eat Your Fruit!” “Eat Your Veg!” Some of us even dressed as our favourite fruits and vegetables for the occasion! 🥕🍏🍍🍓🥒 @WG_Education

This afternoon was a fun one! We made pictures out of fruit and vegetables, learning along the way why these healthy foods are good for us. Then we moved on to face paints! We never want @FoodandFunCdiff to end! @WG_Education 🍓🍎🥒🤡

@FoodandFunCdiff @WelshAmbulance We highly recommend visiting to learn and/or practice CPR at home, it saves lives!.

Day 10 of @FoodandFunCdiff and we want to say thank you so much to Fiona at the @WelshAmbulance for coming in to teach us about the recovery position, when to call the ambulance and how to do CPR! We now know how important it is to have these skills, they save lives! 🚑🫀

Day eight of Food and Fun and we’ve had a busy morning! Our little friends were jumping for joy on a bouncy castle, whilst the rest of us practiced some circus skills! 🤡🤹🏼 Then before lunch we made our own paper aeroplanes! @FoodandFunCdiff @WG_Education

This afternoon, we did a blind taste test! We now know which fruits and vegetables we do (and don’t) like! 🥑🥒🍓🍎 (spoiler alert, we weren’t keen on the spring onion!) @FoodandFunCdiff @WG_Education

Busy morning at Food and Fun today! After Designed To Smile we did our ”Go” and “Whoa” food workshop AND painted our clay fruits and vegetables! We now confidently know which foods are good for our bodies! @FoodandFunCdiff @WG_Education 🍎🥒🍇🥑

Day six of Food and Fun and we want to say a massive thank you to the ladies from @D2S_Wales #DesignedToSmile for coming in to teach us all about our teeth! We now know how important it is to take care of our smile! @FoodandFunCdiff @WG_Education 🦷🪥😁

Day six of Food and Fun and this morning we had PC Jane in to teach us all the S.M.A.R.T method to staying safe online! We also were lucky enough to try real police jackets, handcuffs and a baton! Thank you PC Jane and @swpolice ! @FoodandFunCdiff 👮🏼👮🏾‍♀️🚓

This afternoon we all had fun in the sun! We played with jump ropes, ribbons, hurdles and parachutes! We love Food and Fun and already can’t wait to come back tomorrow! @FoodandFunCdiff ☀️🏅

Day five of Food and Fun and this morning we had @Techniquest in to teach us all about DNA 🧬 We had the chance to extract DNA from a banana! Diolch Techniquest! @FoodandFunCdiff 🍌

Day four of Food and Fun at SJL! We started the day off with an arts and crafts morning, drawing and creating funny fruits! Then this afternoon was our family fun afternoon, with games in the sun and our very own Photo Booth ☀️🎳🎲@FoodandFunCdiff

@FoodandFunCdiff Followed by our second nutrition session all about swapping sugary foods to healthy one, whilst the other group enjoyed some fun in the sun with the hurdles and hula hoops 🏅

Day three of Food and Fun and we started the day making our own clay fruit and vegetables! They’re drying now ready to paint next week! 🍓🍊🍎🥕🥒 @FoodandFunCdiff
