Happy New Year Boro Fans let’s start 2025 off as we mean to go on with 3 points, on a personal note it’s been a tough year for me with my anxiety, panic attacks and mental health setting back in badly again since the end of 2023 into 2024.

Michael Bostwick retiring! What can I say about this man a Stevenage stalwart with over 200 appearances 3 promotions and so many memorable moments in a Boro shirt from his goal against Newcastle in the FA Cup to his part in our FA trophy win in 2009. A true Boro Legend ❤️❤️❤️.

After speaking with Danny’s Dad Andrew Lusby he has given me permission to share this with @StevenageFC and Stevenage FC Fans who might be unaware, his son Danny Lusby suffered a stroke back in February and remains in hospital to this day in London being treated and looked after.

Can’t believe that it’s been 10 years since the passing of Mitchell Cole, what a lovely guy he was and a fantastic player and someone who gave us so many incredible moments in his time at the Boro. Hope you’re looking down with so much pride over the season the boys are having.

@EFL If you cared about mental health you’d have kept the games on this weekend and people could have paid their tributes alongside family and friends while doing something that they enjoy rather than seeing the majority of entertainment and sport carry on but not Football.

The disbelief will stay with me forever and everyone hugging random strangers in the ground in the concourse and outside the stadium took pretty much the whole journey home for it to sink in that it wasn’t a dream.

First competitive away game since 2016 on Saturday, might not be a big thing to some people but with the way my mental health has been for around the last 12 years to travel to an away game after only getting back into football in the last 2-3 years or so is a huge step forward.
