Happy Great North Run day! One of the finest days of the year for any Geordie, and especially for us from South Tyneside. Passes right by the estate I grew up on and I've been at the finish for many years marshalling with Jarrovians Rugby Club. Good luck to all.

FT: Colney Heath 1 Winslow United 2.McShane pulled one back three minutes after the break and they had chances to get a good shot away but the final ball wasn't always great. Better though in the second half.

HT: Colney Heath 0 Winslow United 2. Winslow just that bit stronger and have had that bit more quality when it matters. Both keepers have made good saves. Never heard a centre half say it's not worth challenging a centre-forward as "he's going to win it anyway". Baffles me that
