South Florida’s drainage system isn’t working as well as it used to. Most of our drainage system relies on gravity. During heavy rains, water either seeps into the ground or it flows downhill into pipes and canals that eventually wash out to sea.

#FL should establish an #upperlimit for #SLR. How much SLR can FL take& maintain viability? An upper limit to SLR means that FL & the US has to find an emissions path consistent w/ that upper limit. The task is to decide what that # is &make it central to policy. @RethinkEnergyFL
