🎉Good news! Plans to flatten Glasgow's 90 Maxwell St + 40 Fox St for a 19-storey apartment hotel quashed at @GlasgowCC committee SAVE objected to the scheme, refused yesterday on grounds of "significant overdevelopment" + due to opportunities for repair and reuse ♻️
I am delighted that the Planning Applications Committee has rejected the demolition application! The owner must now take stock and come back with a new design for the site that retains the listed façade, or sell it on for £1 to someone who will restore the building
