Allergic to Stupidity.
Individual = not Secular
Seeker not Believer = disqualified from being a Congressman!
Liberal in the Real sense & hence not Nehruvian!
What makes me a Right winger is that I seek the right answer instead of trying to look for the 'Secular' Congress answer or the 'Communal' BJP wala answer.
@ShashiTharoor
Why can't you name the Religion as you casually name Hinduism without substance. BTW, there are specific Religious texts and verses that need to be tackled. The Calcutta Quran Petition would be a good place to start. I am sure
@Sanjay_Dixit
could educate you.

next time you may want to have them give you the rights to record and publish the entire interview or parts of it for rebuttal.
I think we can safely divide the world into two kinds of people: (1) those who are smart enough to spot aggressively edited clips when they see them, and (2) those who are stupid enough to pay
@newslaundry
to see the full video. Which one are you?

Lest We Forget: On this day in 1884, 13 European nations shamelessly gathered in Berlin to parcel out the African continent like famished school children (on a school trip) haphazardly dividing up a pizza.

I am sorry but just because you don't agree on his Political choice, doesn't mean you start to doubt his professional capabilities. I have relatives who have known him personally while being posted together. They were always full of praise for him.
If any other leader can deliver 500 million bank accounts, 120 million toilets, 100 million gas connections, 260 million health cards, and 40 million homes, in just 9 years as Modi has, then he deserves to be the next Prime minister.

Abdali was chased all the way to Afghanistan by the Marathas.
It was the Maratha's that destroyed the Mughals and ruled most of India.
Sacrificing the most?

I don't recognise India either. I mean everytime I go through the Airport in Mumbai, I see a gleaming modern facility. Reduction in Poverty. Roads have improved. Quality of life has improved. This is not the same India from 10 years ago!
Canadian investigators are professional, & Trudeau’s made the allegations in parliament - so there is something to this. Suddenly adds a lot of credibility to the idea of a bold new dimension in India’s CT strategy - see also .

I wonder how they will feel when this Wealth Redistribution starts on the principle of "Jitni aabadi utna haq"

It's got more to do with the Islamic concept of maal--e-ghanimat. While it starts with women of Kafir's you tend to then look at your women in a similar manner. Isn't that one of the reasons you are to grow a beard is that a beardless man may look like a woman and tempt you?

stand up for Muslim women on issues like Talaq-e-biddat, Nikah mut'ah, Nikah halala among many other issues that are Legally binding on them. Haider Ali will keep his mouth shut when Men enforce Burkhas with threat of Death.
This is the reason I would actually give Jinnah a Bharat Ratna. He actually built the Septic Tank for India. It's a different issue though that we don't keep out Toilet clean......
While Ajay Gadkari may be a Judge in the Bombay High Court, he is not above the law. We need to demand an explanation from him. Judges often claim they are answerable only to the Constitution and that's fine. Because the Constitution starts with 'We the People..."

In an upside down world the community that locked the Hindu's inside the train and set it on fire killing all of them including women and a 16 month old baby were called the victim for 20 years. And the Hindu's were called intolerant!

Since when does asking to be wary and defend one self be called hate speech? I mean why aren't all those that took out processions and called for "sar tan se juda' in jail?
Take Suo Motu action against Hate Speech crimes without waiting for complaint : Supreme Court.
Why isn't Shivamogga police not taking any action? Why is it still waiting for people to file complaint for such cases?

totally misses out the fact that Aurangzeb like most Muslim rulers, was a bigot.
He also forgets that
At the time of his death he was scurrying around trying to hide like a Rat. He died while running away from battle with a Hindu Woman! That woman was Rani Tarabai!

None of us need to, we need to take action against the language that Owaisis use. Why are we giving those that call for Sar tan se juda a free hand?

Was Pfizer offering you kickbacks? Do you even read reports of what it's done? Do you know the conditions that Pfizer imposed on Nations for it's vaccine?
Just look at the statement by this pompous, entitled brat who is 2nd class MBA from a pedestrian college! He has delusions of class! I wonder is Pappu's anal fumes have scrambles his brains since he seems to be trying to Brownnose the family!
Rahul Gandhi’s brilliant riposte to EAM S.Jaishankar on Chinese threat is what political dialogue should be like; respectful yet a knockout blow delivered with ruthless precision. A coup de grâce.
Thé BJP is too uncouth, uncultured and unbecoming of the office they hold.
@Aabhas24
Tipu Sultan ruled in the name of the Ottoman Caliph. He has documented his request to be able to rule in the Caliph's name after his Father Haider died. He even sent tributes and gifts along with this request. Was the Caliph India?
Both Tipoo and Sultan are great names for Dogs!

Actually the Tax collections of GST are far higher than the IT you are referring to. One of the rare instances where I disagree with you. But if I were to presume, I would think Rich Farmers need to be made to pay IT.

First question is why should the Government control this Religious Institution?
Secondly What Domain expertise does the Secular Government have in Religious Matters?
Give us back our Religious spaces and all the monies with interest. Then we can sit and discuss these issues!

May I point out that the reason the Airforce has not responded to your calls to their stations in Dabolim & Karwar because they don't have any Stations there. The closest IAF Station is Belgavi and they train Ground Troops there, so they are also not equipped to help you.
In utter disregard and with not a single iota of conscience or concern for the culture or the families of the continent, the map was redrawn and lands claimed. What followed was the systematic scramble and undoing of Africa. Resistance was met with the brutal force of gunpowder.
@sidhant
This wasn't the first time the Indian High Commission was vandalised. The UK has been a repeat offender. The question that comes to my mind is why did it take so long?
This is what Indian Secularism does! It distorts facts and bludgeons objectivity! BTW am not saying don't celebrate Sania Mirza every girl (or boy) there deserves applause!
@AbhishBanerj
Exacerbated by the Congress under Indira Gandhi. The Congress and it's leadership haven't learned anything despite Indira Gandhi loosing her life to it.
Undoubtedly, this can be corrigendum of the year?! Tucked in the bottom corner of page 5 of India’s top daily Times of India, Delhi Police says sorry for using “phat gayi” instead of “phat gaya”. Don’t miss the original ad. in the next tweet

Congo and many other African nations have never recovered from this trauma that was orchestrated at Bismarck's official residence on that bleak weekend.
With the emergence of another domineering superpower, may this history not be lost to us.
Writes Jacob Zikusooka
The Herero Massacre was the first genocide of the 20th century: tens of thousands of men, women and children were shot, starved, and tortured to death by German troops as they put down “rebellious” tribes in what is now Namibia.
Great Britain was represented by Sir Edward Malet (Ambassador to the German Empire). The US, the emerging but reluctant superpower, had a delegate - the explorer Henry Morton Stanley.

Not a Pin HA!
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is the architect of modern India. When he took over the reigns of India’s destiny, not a pin was manufactured in India. But instead of blaming the past, cursing his predecessors and making excuses, he rolled up his sleeves and built our modern republic.

I am actually afraid to even like or retweet this because I value my head. People in India have been beheaded for insulting the Prophet PBUH and our Liberals have sought to normalise such killings by calling the victim all sort of names Hindutva bigot etc..
I would have believed you if you had stood up for the 16 year old Saad Ansari, Sameet Thakkar, Sunayna Holey, Ketaki Chitale, Kamlesh Tiwari. Kerala professor TJ Joseph.... not even mentioning Nupur Sharma but you get the drift....

What the Delhi police has done today is condemnable. An arrest over a tweet, they claim. But everyone knows what this is for. This is payback.

His Great Grand Father Nehru had also claimed that he didn't need the Armed forces and that his Police were enough! His problem is Genetic!!
The British governor then, Sir Fredrick Crawford, an honest man to a fault, resigned because he was unwilling to be party to this gerrymandering. This has since become the template for regime survival.
