People were used like the cows they areeven today. Nothing has changed since this kalhu hukuru. Every issue that was raised in calls of resignation of Maumoon, & in turn forced him into a new constitution, is still present till today. Yes, new faces came to power & stole more.
Maldivians can’t pull off a Sri Lankan style revolution cause our population is too fat and obese. Back in 2004–05, we were able to force Maumoon into a new constitution cause majority Maldivians were super fit, you can see it from pictures. They’d stay on streets for days.

Even then we were herded with these issues—carefully thought out & orchestrated to gain maximum political advantage. Dreams of people, their opinions, ideas, & innovations are thus stolen from them, only to be shredded & destroyed by the powerful people. To achieve their goals.

That stone gets more milk than the thousands of children begging on the streets. It’s such a waste. Islam teach us better than this. We share our resources with each other, we don’t go feeding it to a stone with an open gutter behind it.
Sooner or later, everyone will realise the truth that Sanatan Dharma is the only way forward. By 2050, I expect muslim population to go below 12% in India. Muslim women will lead this silent revolution.

Saying sorry is not enough to compensate for a fault in a lift/ac/fridge/pump. It’s us who has to fix it or pay for the damage. And it’s also us who has to go calling and begging @STELCOMALDIVES, after they find themselves incompetent in providing us the services we pay them?.

When are you going to give us a proper reason why this is occurring repeatedly? Who would be responsible for the damage it causes in our households? When are you going to act like a public owned company, and not a private entity? @HussainFahmy09 @STELCOMALDIVES.

Drug traffickers should be prosecuted and executed. Ain’t there no human rights group enough to tell me that these drug traffickers have the same rights as a normal citizen. If you care about living so much then you should not become a drug trafficker.

These bootlickers of @MohamedNasheed want every capable person to leave MV and to never return. Latheef should join Nasheed for a jog and move abroad together, live happily ever after.
If anyone gets the chance to work and live abroad, they should not move back to the Maldives. This country is designed for crooks and the rich.

What is the reason behind these frequent electricity cuts / blackouts in Malé city @STELCOMALDIVES?. @MMuizzu this is a very crucial time as children are busy getting ready to go to schools. Fix this. It’s like living in 1960s with one generator for power.

The only thing missing in MV is the lobby groups that they’ve in those first world countries. Maybe that’s the incentive these politicians want the most. We’re not a first world country, nor are we at the second. Yet the salaries of MPs are comparable to the first world countries.
Consider this. If MP salary was zero, the rich and/or conmen would still run for status and/or to steal. If MP salary was comparable to first world salaries, world class talent would run and we might have a better Parliament. Right now the capable are not incentivized.

When i say “geo-political suicide” i had not thought Anim would humble me with this crazy take. Having even one foreign military post on one tiny island would call for more troubles than we have ever seen. Having no foreign military presence in our country should be our focus.
The plan is to structure out own defence and make money off it. We shut down the resorts we cant manage and make defence agreements with countries and lease those islands for military training purposes. We get = securtiy. They get = Access to the equator.

They’re even involved in producing poison for local consumption. Deporting monsters like these is just a waste of tax money & no justice. They should be jailed & in my opinion asked to work like they make inmates do in El Salvadore. (In reality they should be executed for this).
Suspects arrested and deported for selling alcohol without a permit in Maldives. All 4 arrested were North Indians.
