If Boston fans are mad about what Udonis Haslem said about Bill Russell, just wait until they hear what Celtics fans said to Russell while he was playing 😱

The guy running BallsackSports is pretty open and honest that he’s doing this to prove a point about poor journalism practices. When media entities are plagued by budget cuts/staff reduction to appease corporations this is the byproduct. There are no checks & balances
LeBron has talked soooo much crap every time his team has started to pull away. Every run they’ve went on he’s clapped at the Heat bench or jawed at Jimmy. Butler gave it back and LeBron was in the locker room before the final buzzer
The Knicks are tied for the 5th-best record in the NBA over the last month (they're 10-6 since Jan. 27). They have the 9th-best record in the NBA since Jan. 16 (they've gone 13-9).
@chancetherapper
Met my wife in high school and married her just over a year ago. Been together almost ten years and I love her more and more everyday. Love's a beautiful thing. Congrats on the wedding and here's to continued love and happiness for you both.
There’s a segment of Canes fans who are dismissive of UCF because of the conference they play in. I find it comically ironic that their main contributors this year are a defensive line transfer from Temple, a QB transfer from Houston and an offensive coordinator from SMU
So the Miami Marlins, the team that everyone perceives to be cheap, voted today to allow their players a full prorated salary for 70 games while 90% of the league didn’t. Honestly have never been happier with this ownership group.
The best linebacker in the country- THE ENTIRE COUNTRY- from just one recruiting class ago just transferred to UCF. They aren’t up and coming anymore. UCF is here.
Been here too but now we’re just saying it with our chests
Some gators fan told me that uf could “steal every UCF recruit if they wanted” when Nixon initially flipped. Since then:
- UCF held off Florida’s attempt to flip John Walker
- UCF flipped Florida commit Tyree Patterson
- UCF re-flipped and signed Nixon
Tough scene.
BREAKING: Four-Star EDGE Isaiah Nixon tells me he has Flipped his commitment from Florida to UCF!
The 6’4 210 EDGE had been Committed to the Gators since June.
“I had a way better relationship with the coaches at UCF than I did at Florida.”
ESPN goes to commercial with UCF basketball leading St. Joes and the break ends with a commercial for UCF football’s ABC primetime game. Just amazing how much the athletic program has grown just in this decade alone
“For him to say that Miguel Rojas is a bad person is incredibly disingenuous…What have you done Jazz? Nothing…
…they would’ve kicked your ass and that would have been the end of you…”
-
@DavidPSamson
has strong words for Marlins Second Baseman/Centerfielder, Jazz Chisholm…
That loss is on Mike Norvell. How many times did Milton have to beat his ass while he was at Memphis to know the type of special quarterback he is? Know your roster.
"It's usually my downtime, too.... I might be in Florida, but I'm definitely not going to any of their games"
- Brady Tkachuk, who is currently at the Panthers game lol
The Miami Marlins could "sell" at the deadline and it would immediately make them a better team if it meant they called up their prospects to fill the post-trade holes
Every blue-chip prospect that commits to UCF mentions the same thing. National championships. The vision and goal is clear and the bar is set exactly where it needs to be.
UCF picked up their 3rd Quad One win with a double-digit win over a top 25 team
They have:
- One more Q1 win than Florida State
- Two more Q1 wins than Miami and Florida
- Three more Q1 wins than usf, who has yet to play a Q1 game
Only Florida team with more Q1 wins is FAU
It's impossible to hate Boise. I have such massive respect for their program and their consistency despite limited resources. They deserve a Power 5 invite as much as anyone in the sport. It's long overdue they replace one of the placeholder, grandfathered-in P5 schools
UCF men’s basketball will likely wind up as top 25 programs, women’s may too. UCF baseball is likely a top 25 team. Football has the longest win streak in the nation. UCF is a top 25 athletic program which, given the resources disparity, is insane.
If Alabama beats Georgia on Monday night, it's very possible that *at least* 3 of the 6 computer rankings formerly used in the BCS rankings (all currently recognized by the NCAA as "major selections") have UCF as the top-ranked team.
Jeff Nelson just said it perfectly: If you’re leaving Alcantara in after the two walks then why are you pulling him after he induces a double play?
Nobody would complain if you pulled him after the walks, but if you trusted him there then why wouldn’t you after he succeeds?
The Heat came into last offseason well over the cap and were projected to be over the cap going into 2020. Despite that, they added a superstar this offseason and are top six in cap space for next year. Unreal.
Following the NBA trade deadline, I now project six teams to have cap space this summer:
1. ATL - $50.4M
2. NYK - $44.6M
3. DET - $34.3M
4. MIA - $26.5M
5. CHA - $25.7M
6. PHX - $24.8M
Minnesota and Portland could both get to cap space, but are more likely to stay over the cap.
If you want to know why every coordinator in the country is in play for the UCF job, consider the fact that they just landed a commitment from a 4-star WR... WITHOUT A HEAD COACH OR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
Some personal news: Excited to announce that my wife and I are expecting a child, due this May. Also excited to announce that little one already has the Tomahawk Chop down in the womb, just in time for UM-FSU week too
This is what the Marlins deserve for how they're handling Eury. You make decisions that are counter to winning in the middle of a tight playoff race- regardless of reasoning- and you lose important games. They'll be on the outside looking in by the time he's back in the rotation
Can't say I get the rationale for UCF to give in to any football program in terms of a 2-for-1 deal with the new playoff format on the way. They can guarantee themselves a playoff spot by just scheduling whatever P5 is willing to do a home-and-home
@awfulannouncing
Lots of folks in the comments who seem to believe a guy who plays basketball for a living should be held to a higher standard than the people who make the laws in our country
Three-time Sun Belt Player of the Year Grayson McCall will also be making a visit to UCF this weekend, a source tells
@On3sports
.
We reported on Monday the Coastal Carolina transfer quarterback is visiting NC State this weekend.
Need Gus Malzahn and staff to send a message to the rest of the country and keep Cormani McClain home. Turn that
#Polklando
narrative up a notch or two
Quick thoughts in Isaiah Wilson: Feels like it's impossible to know how good a guy is if he never got on the field. When he played in college he was really good. Not sure why we'd assume that's changed. Seems like an absolute steal to me.
Top three player in the state. Second best RB in the country. Thanks to the clown show in Gainesville for being so dysfunctional that he ended up where he belongs.
Im at the Dwyer-Palm Beach Central football game at Palm Beach Central. Everyone just took off from the field and the stands. Something is happening. Cops are responding. People are reporting three shots heard.
This offseason could not be set up more perfectly for the Marlins. Two legitimately good free agent hitters with skillsets of need are from South Florida and grew up Marlins fans. Don't screw this up.
2023 Miami Marlins have:
• good vibes
• the power of friendship
• a collection of major leaguers
• your wife’s favorite manager
• LED lights in their stadium
• a closer who had sex nine months ago
They just eliminated the Padres from playoff contention.
2023 San Diego Padres have:
• this year’s Cy Young
• three 25+ HR hitters
• 2nd-best team ERA in NL
• a closer with a 1.16 ERA
• 3rd-highest offensive fWAR in NL
• 3rd-fewest errors in NL
They were just eliminated from playoff contention. Never seen anything like it.
I lost my dad on Friday.
Been thinking of a million different ways to word this but I’ll keep it simple: He was the best. I’m blessed to have had a dad who loved me and believed in me as much as he did. I’ll miss him every day.
People do realize that UCF has played Penn State, Stanford, Michigan, Ohio State, Missouri, NC State, South Carolina and Maryland in the last five years, right? Add Ohio State in there if you extend it to seven years.
To be fair to the Marlins, they said they wanted to spend but didn’t say how much. Could have been talking about buying a new vending machine or maybe some new chairs in the locker room or something
My perfect offseason for the Miami Heat would be:
- Trade Herro, Duncan, Lowry and picks for Lillard and Nurkic
- Sign (or S&T) Brook Lopez
- Retain Vincent, Love and Strus
You get two massively needed size upgrades who have the ability to space the floor...
