This confirms just how far the Tory Party has fallen. This reckless anti-science stance is a clear risk to jobs, investment and future generations.

For ~20yrs the Climate Change Act has powered clean growth & climate action Proud to co-ordinate 124 MPs & Peers to urge the Conservatives, don’t scrap it Turning climate leadership into a political football puts our economy, security & children’s future at risk #ClimateAction

The behaviour uncovered by Panorama at Charing Cross is disgusting and a deeply depressing reminder about the journey still to be travelled to get these sort of people and this sort of culture out of the Met. I know our new borough leadership gets it but there’s much more to do.

Today we have witnessed a vile attack on our Jewish community on its holiest day. We condemn whoever is responsible and will do everything within our power to keep people safe. We stand with GM’s Jewish community at this time and will work through the day to support them. 🙏🏻

Good to see @SadiqKhan confirm the Met Police are stepping up patrols in Jewish communities and synagogues in London.
I’m horrified by the violent attack at a synagogue in Manchester. I have been in contact with the Mayor of Greater Manchester and the Home Secretary, and would like to reassure Londoners that the Met Police are stepping up patrols in Jewish communities and synagogues across

Horrific news from Manchester today. The attack on the Heaton Park Synagogue, on Yom Kippur of all days, is shocking. There is no place for violence like this in our country. All our thoughts are with the victims and the Jewish community in Manchester and beyond.
I’m appalled by the attack at a synagogue in Crumpsall. The fact that this has taken place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, makes it all the more horrific. My thoughts are with the loved ones of all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency
