The new $1.7B terminal won’t guarantee more flights at Pittsburgh International Airport, officials tell me. It’s part of the equation, but PGH needs to increase tourism and outside investment to do that. They are hoping the NFL Draft will help spark that.

🚆 I rode the train from Pittsburgh to DC last month. It's a slow journey, but honestly not noticeably long. With plenty of room to stretch out, tons of food, and a movie or two downloaded, it was very pleasant. It's also very cheap. My tips below ⬇️

NEW - The feds are seeking Pittsburgh office space for an unspecified law enforcement agency expansion in the region. Reporting from WaPo and NPR indicate that ICE is behind the request as part of a 10,000 officer nationwide expansion
