This community deserves answers. PFAS levels near MW-21, only ~100 ft from the old town wells, exceed EPA’s drinking water limits. Residents likely drank from this aquifer for years. The health impacts are real — and it’s time for accountability. #PFAS #Tewksbury

Mapped against EPA’s 2025 PFAS sampling data, these illnesses cluster directly downgradient of the Sutton Brook landfill — the same direction contamination is migrating toward the former Tewksbury municipal wells. #EnvironmentalJustice

In just one week, residents near Tewksbury’s Sutton Brook Superfund site reported multiple cases of kidney, bile duct, thyroid & colon cancers — plus Hodgkin’s lymphoma, leukemia, Parkinson’s & dementia. The pattern isn’t random. #PFAS #Tewksbury #EPA

Alarming health data from South Tewksbury: in just 1 week, residents reported multiple cases of kidney, bile duct, thyroid & colon cancer — plus Hodgkin’s, leukemia, Parkinson’s & dementia — near the Sutton Brook Superfund Site. Contamination is widespread. #PFAS #Tewksbury

The EPA’s 2025 PFAS report confirms widespread, severe contamination at Sutton Brook. Monitoring Well 21 just 100 ft from Tewksbury’s former municipal wellfield tested positive for PFAS above federal limits. These were the same wells that once supplied our drinking water.

When compared with the EPA’s official Record of Decision (2007) and the subsequent designation of Sutton Brook on the National Priorities List, the 1999 Tewksbury Board of Health letter appears deeply inconsistent with the documented facts. That letter publicly dismissed

What did they know and when did they know it? In 1999, Tewksbury’s Board of Health claimed the Poplar St. wells were closed for “low output” & posed “no health risk.” But EPA’s 2007 report says those wells were shut down in 1992 due to VOC & metal contamination the site was
